You tap, I let go.
On the mat, a tap means stop, and a good partner lets go right away. No questions, no hard feelings. Your information works the same way here. You decide what I hold, and you can take it back whenever you want.

Who’s holding it
Me. Diane Seamark, a yoga therapist in British Columbia, Canada. I run dianeseamark.com myself and handle your information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). I don’t sell it, rent it or trade it. I’m a yoga therapist, not a data broker.
What I hold, and why
- Free guides. Your first name and email address, so I can send you the guide you asked for and my essays. Essays, not a daily flood. Your inbox has enough going on.
- When you write to me. Whatever you send, so I can write back.
- When you book a session. Your contact details and the health history you choose to share, so I can read your body safely and work with it well.
- When you pay. Payments go through Stripe. Stripe handles your card details. I never see your full card number, and I don’t want to. I get your name, email address and what you paid for, so I can send receipts and keep my books. If you order Gut Punch, I also get your shipping address, and I share it only with the carrier delivering your book.
- When you visit. Cookies, the digital kind, sadly. Squarespace, which hosts this site, uses cookies to count visits, pages viewed, browser type and rough location. I only ever see totals. You can block cookies in your browser.
Who else touches it
Three services, each with one job:
- Squarespace hosts this site and its forms.
- Flodesk sends my emails and stores your name and email address to do it.
- Stripe processes payments and keeps your card details secure.
All three keep data on servers in the United States, so US law can apply to it. Each has its own privacy policy.
What stays in the room
What you tell me about your body, your health or your history stays between us. I use it for your sessions and nothing else. I don’t share it without your written consent unless the law requires me to. Session records are kept secure, and only for as long as I need them.
How to tap out
No hard feelings. I get tapped all the time.
- Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom. One click, done.
- Ask to see what I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct it, or delete it where the law allows.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
Ask me directly
Email me and I’ll answer within 30 days. If my answer doesn’t sit right with you, you can take it to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
If this changes
I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
